Title : Bicycle laws and penalties
Description : Under NSW legislation a bicycle is considered as a vehicle. As such, cyclists are required to obey the road rules, including stopping at red lights or Stop signs, Giving Way as indicated by signage and giving hand signals when changing direction. "Am I eligible for Legal Aid?"
Eligibility for Legal Aid depends on the matter and your financial circumstances. If you are wanting to apply for Legal Aid call 1300 888 529 to speak to one of our Customer Service Officers who can help you work out if Legal Aid is available and assist you to fill out the Legal Aid application form over the phone.

Using the Legal Aid Means Test Indicator you can assess whether you may be financially eligible for Legal Aid, in those matters where Legal Aid has a means test.
