Background
Council has observed and recorded noise from machinery on your premises above XX decibels on 10 December 20XX, 10 January 20XX and 12 January 20XX.
If you cause, permit or allow noise from 4 Big Street Suburb 2000 to exceed XX decibels when measured you may be proceeded against for an offence arising under that Division.
This notice is issued under Section 264 of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997.
It is an offence against that Act to contravene this notice, except as specified in Section 265(2) of the Act. (See the information at the end of this notice.)
