Someone dies and leaves a will The will names an Executor The executor makes enquiries about the value of the deceased's assets and debts A grant of probate is necessary A grant of Probate is unecessary The executor applies for a grant of Probate in the Supreme Court of NSW Probate is granted The executor pays the debts from the estate and distributes the remainder The will does not name an executor or the executor is unable to act The next of kin makes enquiries bout the value of the deceased's assets and debts A grant of Letters of Administration is necessary A grant of Letters of Adminsitration is unnecessary Administration is granted The next of kin applies for a grant of Letters of Administration in the Supreme Court of NSW The next of kin pays the debts from the estate and distributes the remainder
