Flowcharts
These flowcharts give you a visual overview of what to do after a car accident, and how to make or respond to a claim.
Making a claim
If your car was damaged in an accident, and you were not insured or did not make a claim on your insurance policy, you can make a claim against the other party if you believe that the other driver was at-fault. You can make a claim to recover the cost of repairing your vehicle, and other losses.

Responding to a claim
If you were in a car accident and a car was damaged, the owner of that car might make a claim against you if they believe it was your fault. There are different ways you can respond to their claim.
